I am guessing that there is a bit of confusion wrt things.
The 10th Anniversary of the s Series will have 3 phones. One S10 and S10 Plus. The 3rd Phone will be the Samsung X, the Foldable Phablet-Tablet Hybrid. I don't think there will be 3 S Series phones.
Also, I am in agreement with Samsung users about the technology and innovation being more of consolidation and regularization, rather than being very drastic and path-breaking.
It's not that Samsung is not ahead of the pack. It's nust that it keeps to keep the distance between itself and the other wolves more.
Especially since it does excel in the Memory, Screen and SoC Departments.
I hope it's Collaboration with ARM in the 7nm and 5nm chip fabrication process yields some industry leading results and that it uses it to increase its lead over the market.
I was hoping that Samsung reimage the multi-cam setup with all super fast readout cameras (Sensors with DRAM), and maybe have a 5 camera setup that ABSOLUTELY pushes the HDR and Low Light Capabilities of Smartphone cameras (along with 10-bit HEIF photos).
AnonD-771260, 08 Jul 2018Trust me, cheapest S10 still will cost a lot. There are no "budget flagships" for market leaders. There is no such thing as a low budget flagship from Samsung. If it's not the top phone, it's a really low end phone. Look at all the mini versions of the Samsung flagships. And then look at the Sony compact of the flagships. Sony doesn't ruin the quality or hardware, just because you choose the compact model. Every other brand screws you on hardware, just because you want a little bit smaller model. If there will be a flat screen s10, then be aware that it will be a phone far from the edged version, when it comes to the hardware.

$620/$650?
If yes, then would the downgrade of the S10 Mini from the base S10 make sense to most buyers in a bid to save $100, keeping in mind that Android users are big on features? I don't think so. But either of us may be right and we'd know for sure next year.
A wide angle camera is the best thing that can happen. I would like so see more manufacturers picking up the trend.
AnonD-771260, 08 Jul 2018Trust me, cheapest S10 still will cost a lot. There are no "budget flagships" for market leaders.Yeah though it's meant to compete with the iPhone 9, which will be 700. Samsung has mostly charged less money on their S line of smartphones than Apple, so hopefully it's sensibly priced

As for why curved edges sell the best, it's because the look of it is amazing, as I said before. Looks should be in par with the phone, and Samsung has always been good at that

The basic S10 will have only 1 camera, have a smaller battery, a smaller screen size, no in-display FPS, and who knows what else.
Meaning if the S7E outsold the S7 with only a few differences, it is virtually impossible that the S10 outsells its curved sibs with far more features axed. That's my point.
