Quite ironic when the only phones Apple is selling today are the LCD 11 and X models.
I was simply pointing to the obvious fact omission, which clearly hurts you more than me, as you felt forced to reactivate your old spinster account to reply. :D

Apple is concentrating in other areas also, top in wearable, top in earphones, top in tablets. Plus lockdown of such devices to iPhone. The ecosystem is continuing to get stronger, they did not relax.

Other brands have no strong integration to each other. Pushing few innovations, left it to rot.. worse got improved by Apple, then they realise it.. but is too late.

Selling cheap is not sustainable. Customer get used to the price, then end up complaining. Forcing companies to cut price yet again.

Refuse to drop price is hard, you need reputation to keep you afloat. Really impressive what Apple had done.

Moving a ton of devices is easy to do if you are willing to sell them low enough. Market share is easy to gain if you sell it cheap enough. That's how all those Chinese OEM's started, cheap pricing to build a user base and move devices and eventually start raising their prices. But no one can move the kind of numbers Apple is moving at the prices that is at least 3X that of their competitors.

The institutionalised RDF in effect.
It's nice to know that Apple had managed to top one (1) quarter a year for an impressive three years. It would however be a bit more interesting to know how many consecutive years Samsung has topped global sales. Is it ten years by now?

Huawei really needs it own OS, it has a big opportunity to lock people into their own ecosystem.

Apple is growing fast because they have two iPhones on the market and old ones and is much easier to sell large numbers, until others realize this tactic they will be long gone.

If there is one thing that people want to show off, (with or without a loan or installment) it's a phone where almost everyone opens the same social media apps, which are just as fast and the same on almost every other recent phone.
