Ecstatic , 29 Feb 2020Actually this is good, electronic devices are expected to have a massive drop in prices in ord... moreNo, the opposite. cheap components shortage means the OEM's have to rely on expensive alternatives as long as they don't decide to sit around and take a break. Naturally using expensive components means they'll increase the end product price. So be ready for a price hike.

haha yes coronavirus is the problem for decline
lets be real shipments is not sales and OEM just like to overstock
decline will come because price increased 3times for last 4-5years

So much for the 5G hype that even developing and poorer countries doesn't even have proper, sustained access to 4G. And comes the coronavirus. Shame that Chinese OEMs have made great phones recently and is being hindered by this.

The scarcity of supplies are affecting world's economy, many products will be short on supplies not only tech devices but even very basic products like sugar substitute for diet sodas... If the situation gets worse, probably will end up like the 2008 financial crisis or worst.
