Naturally using expensive components means they'll increase the end product price. So be ready for a price hike.
haha yes coronavirus is the problem for decline
lets be real shipments is not sales and OEM just like to overstock
decline will come because price increased 3times for last 4-5years
while functions got removed
Actually this is good, electronic devices are expected to have a massive drop in prices in order to the sales to the right track. The summer would be the right time to see such a change.
Boeing 747-400, 29 Feb 2020If situation gets worse and worse, then big OEM like Apple and Samsung will lose lots of money... moreGood! There are too many Chinese smartphone companies and sub-brands making the same damn smartphones anyway.
If situation gets worse and worse, then big OEM like Apple and Samsung will lose lots of money and others like Chinese OEM will lose even more money, chances of bankrputcy is high for them.
Along with the high launch cost of the latest flagships which will mean a lot of people will hold off purchasing once the prices drop.
So much for the 5G hype that even developing and poorer countries doesn't even have proper, sustained access to 4G. And comes the coronavirus. Shame that Chinese OEMs have made great phones recently and is being hindered by this.
Now can speculate you need 5G phone. Its more expensive. From 300 euro
The scarcity of supplies are affecting world's economy, many products will be short on supplies not only tech devices but even very basic products like sugar substitute for diet sodas... If the situation gets worse, probably will end up like the 2008 financial crisis or worst.
