wasox, 12 Sep 2020Really? You have been waiting for huawei to take over? Is that it? Lol, get a lifeYou're right. Not sure if it's true, but I've heard from sites like GizChina and Huawei is actually planning to quit making smartphones because of excessive limitations. Sourcing chips have became harder.

Priority of available apps using Petal Search -

Appgallery > Official website > ApkPure > Aptoide

Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, Telegram, Spotify, Waze all are available. Gmail can be slaved into stock Huawei Email app, Youtube can be used as shortcut to browser, all banking apps I'm using already there in Appgallery.

Yup, HMS is improving, by a lot compared to when it launched since Mate 30 series. Now it became as a search engine as well. Nice.

Strong points for me to stick with Huawei, by upgrading to Mate 40 soon.

One that is actually supported by some entity with a backbone, unlike MS Winpho.

Hope it can be more reliable than Google's search engine. And if only Huawei decides not to exit the smartphone segment, the end of the day.

Politics aside this huawei saga is becoming very sad.
Such a good brand always pushing the technology forward but crippled by usa and China also.
It triggered a chain of events, restrictions, banning, threatening sanctions all over the world.
What a sh*thole politics can be.

All these articles about Huawei is too generate interest in their brand again but honestly, this won't solve their issues outside China.
