If this is China's stance on global trade, then China should be fully embargoed from trading with free nations.

Country A used to be a beacon of the world but today they are a very big disappointment to say the least.
Surely what S concerns can such an app have for a big country like country A which they can fail to manage and when they claim to be an oasis of technology?
Besides, the app is mostly used by young people for entertainment by posting things like dance moves and alike.
Apologies for using riddles in my comment, it's because GSMarena is blocking comments which contain certain countries and words and I hope they won't block this one.

It's interesting to see how can some people here have the concience to defend the oppresive regime of communist party of China (CPC), who puts millions of people in concentration camps and holds millions more as labour slaves. Tese people can only be stooges of CPC otherwise nobody can defend such an inhumane oppressive regime.

I guess the actual reason behind this is that TikTok uses a very powerful data analysis algorithms that could benefit competitors in US if they get their hands on it. I know some people are like "Boo I can't believe China is trying to use such a terrible excuse to stop TikTok negotiation", but let's be real here - this whole US vs China technological cold war is full of BS and poor excuses from both sides. You should read into it deeper and see the real meaning behind what they say.

If China refuses a deal between businesses with that argument, the west should impose an immediate and unilateral ban on ALL trade with China.
Not a joke. Not spin. This means China's only interest is to move control TO China, no matter what.

Of course it will be bad for both Huawei and Vodafone reputation since vodafone subscriber is big. Anyway, their smartphone is free from security issue. And you have to know that 50% market share of telecommunications equipment in the world is supplied by Huawei. Huawei is so big, that's why US don't like.
