a device which is worst than siii who will pay for it. as compared siii had 306 ppi and note2 have 267 ppi. siii supports 64 gb sd card. and note 2 only 32 gb sd card . why shoul we pay money for a single feature s-pen . just a waste of money . shame on u samsung
Spending a sum of €639.90 which is approx 45000 Indian rupees is fairly waste on this device when compare to specs of previous version of N700 there are no much changes in fact the N7100 has less pixel density than previous galaxy "Galaxy note 2 - 720 x 1280 pixels, 5.5 inches (~267 ppi pixel density)
Galaxy note - 800 x 1280 pixels, 5.3 inches (~285 ppi pixel density)"
itz looks pretty funny when coming to processor quad core, ram 2gb, screen 5.5 inches, NFC, LTE support (never work in India) for this we have to pay extra 15000 when compared to previous note...!!! and the disappointing feature is it has got 8MP rear camera..:( i rather expected 16MP atleast fairly i can say i never choose this device rather i will go for galaxy s3..!!
Note:my conversation in respective of Indian market..!!
Take prices with a pinch of salt because similar stories for all newly released high end smartphones. Same thing with with S3. Now available on 25gbp per month free s3. Wait for device to become available for more retailers and carriers then it will be a less than what Vodafone Germany trying to rip you off.
i'll wait for the ipad mini at least it's worth it. already have nexus 7 with better screen no touch wiz.
800$ for such a lame phone ? ...No improvement in camera, pentile, huge size, low resolution...Snapdragon S4 is out...This is already fail.
Overpriced for plastic. May have been sellable before, but Xperia has destroyed Galaxy today in benchmarks.
As good as the device is, I would never spend that much money in a competitive market.
Wait it out people, the price will go down.
dheeraj123, 30 Aug 2012when galaxy note charges 800$ it is costly but when a shitty iphone 4s costs 1000$,it is still... morebecause its well recognized product and no matter what phone you buy , iPhone won't loose resale value very easily , whereas other phones easily loose resale value.
We all know how much importance Sony and Apple give to the designs (unlike samsung) , so their products are always bit high priced.
Added to that , there are no apps to utilize the hardware of note , its like a toy unlike Tegra 3 devices or 4S , which actually have optimized apps and people spend more time using device functionality rather than customization and hunting for ROMs.
Mark.Fauzi, 30 Aug 2012I'm in love with this Note 2. Surely I'll sell my current iPhone 4s for this new one. Oh Samsu... moreOh please, you never had an iPhone to begin with Lol
You all are making it too obvious, too obvious Lol
I'm in love with this Note 2. Surely I'll sell my current iPhone 4s for this new one. Oh Samsung, you've made me thrown out my ugly iPhone..... It's crazy but so really. By by iPhone...
Derhunter23, 30 Aug 2012Oops. It means I have to dig deeper into my pocket. At least you will make room for this Note to fit there ;)
Now that we have a Galaxy camera Sammy should consider launching the Galaxy Pants and the Galaxy Jeans, so the Note can fit there.
Prices will come down within 3 months after launch, like it has always been.
@x3mer: There's LG and Lenovo. The True part is no one makes phones this big and this good at the same time.
Well acutally it doesnt seem so legit
The image on the Engadget(the source of the article) show the specs of the phone as 5mp and resolution as 1280 x 800 ....
dheeraj123, 30 Aug 2012when galaxy note charges 800$ it is costly but when a shitty iphone 4s costs 1000$,it is still... moreI agree that the writers on various sites are usually biased.
One thing I disagree on though is that nobody criticizes the iphone price.
Anything above $450 is pricey in phones to me. Both of these are expensive as heck and should SERIOUSLY lower the price. Neither one is worth that price.
I was willing to pay whatever it takes to get this beast UNTIL it was revealed that its not that better than my current Note1!(and even worse at some points) too bad nobody else makes phones this big.
