Dunkinoz, 23 Jun 2021I've been using two monitors with Windows 10 for about 8 years. I did not know it was not... moreIt currently works really poor, if you got say a laptop, and use a docking with and additional monitor.
Everytime you dock or undock, It smashes everything... There are (open source) apps restoring stuff to suitable positions though. Apps for both icons and open windows exists. But will be so great to get it included in windows.

This is hardly advanced. But still very useful to have.
I wish they would add FancyZones to Windows natively though, as that's currently the best solution to the multi-monitor problem.
"Windows 11 will finally support...". Finally? It's not even released yet ffs
Wow
km11, 22 Jun 2021Totally agreed, Windows 7 was a nightmare to use. I need to reinstall it every month to fix it... moreSame. Replaced HDD and doubled Ram. Using Windows 10 and everything works very well. In order to get most out of your laptop/PC just disable unneeded settings and services.
MrAndreas, 22 Jun 2021What?! This isn't new. This feature was introduced with a recent Windows 10 build! Doh!That must be VERY recent, it isn't offered in WU (yet?) at the least not to everyone (on Win10 Pro, 21H1 10.0.19043.1081)
km11, 22 Jun 2021Totally agreed, Windows 7 was a nightmare to use. I need to reinstall it every month to fix it... moreThe only time I got a single BSOD with Windows 7 was due to unstable overclocking settings for my CPU, or rather too low voltage. Other than that, no stability issues or BSOD's. Only time I ever got BSOD's with W10 were due to a failing PSU and also AMD's drivers being very unstable, about 3 years ago.
Anonymous, 22 Jun 2021Windows 10 is miles better than Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. Used all of them in the same laptop... moreTotally agreed, Windows 7 was a nightmare to use. I need to reinstall it every month to fix it's BSODs and other OS corrupting issues, it eventually damaged my HDD. I am using Windows 10 on the same PC and it's just smooth.
Well i am missing the brown words on a balck screen from Win95 now you can safely turn off your PC.

I know many have been complaining that the windows 11 is just a reskinned windows 10. To be honest.. I see that as a welcome change because the UI is now much better. it is buttery smooth and the it is reassuring to know that it is windows 10 underneath because i did not find any issues with Windows 10.. considering the fact that Microsoft announced that they will not be releasing a version 11 and it was only going to be updates to win10... So.. this is better. and fresh install works really well. and even the upgrade worked perfectly well... and the UI is smooth and polished (not talking just about the the looks here). So no point in complaining.
