No wonder why they are not stopping plastic made phones,,if they can sell this, what is the need for them of making a phone out of a more expensive material, which would reduce there profit.

AnonD-5197, 03 Jul 2013In any company, if a logistics person was purchasing and storing millions inventories in the w... moreYou're making the big assumption that the logistics manager has the final say in how much to ship or store. If the execs are more interested in posting big numbers for their next shareholder meeting or to release to the press, the logistics person has to do what they say. Besides, they're talking about channel sales. It could be on a boat from Korea to the US or Europe for 3-4 weeks. Then another week to clear customs and even more time to get to their final retail destination. So they could have millions of devices still in transit that they are trying to pass off as "sales".
Shipped not sold.
Can Samsung please stop making plastic phone and use glass or aluminium or even liquid metal.. we need innovation and not cheap plastic phone which some idiots are prepare to pay there hard earn money on.. Htc one and xperia z all the way
iPhone mini or iPhone 6 probably will break this record ...
They've sent 20 millions S4s to partner stores. They've got they're money for that.
How is that not a sale?
And you really think that in today's market someone just stacks piles of s4's in a warehouse?
I'm tired of this crap coming from the isheeps!
Either way they did way better than with the S3, which was definitely a hit so props to Sammy for an astounding product and this android related record!
Where are they shipping too? I still haven't seen more than 2 S4 till now in the wild.
