SO they left entire space to it. Samsung took up Tizen as its future plan! so no way after having plans to invest in Tizen as their strategy would try another OS. Huawei tries to build business with Android as its base is more in china, as cheap android are wanted more there...simple to understand ...isn't it?!

By the way, you are right with the fact that Windows Phone basically "Microsoft" sucks in giving out updates. As being a software giant, the updates for better and best features should not be delayed like it is being delayed now. Windows Phone 8.1 should be announced a year back but sadly, Microsoft is just too lazy.
Every OEM that went into Windows phone end up getting burnt; Huawei tried the W1, Do you have any idea how much they are selling those now?? Below cost price - just to get them off
AnonD-197784, 23 Jan 2014I see your point; pronounced by the sales figures!..... Is this normal with you or you fail to understand every time? The price of 1020 is still high and I have no idea why it is. I agree with the price of 1020 being high still and that is just odd for many customers who wants to buy a 1020. A 1520 is a no way competition to 1020 whether it's pricing or technology. A 1320 is no way a competitor to a 1520 in both ways. Your point?

Nokia has learnt its lesson ... not from Samsung but from Apple, how they trampled Apple. This is just the beginning. Just like how Samsung overpopulated and spread, how LG, Huawei followed suit, Nokia will also do it under Microsoft. Be prepared to cry even more and better in forums!!!

I'd it's about money they would give the phones for free! And equate the "sales" as losses!

I couldn’t find the part in Nokia-Microsoft deal, where nokia is forbidden to make smartphones. I only found the part in which Nokia is not allowed to use the Nokia brand for a while. My guess is than Normandy project will stay with Nokia.

Three was the very much hyped 1020, before it was even released, press pictures and teases of a "bigger" and "better" 1520 starts up, telling folks it's way better and has the 3 column thing going.
Like that's not washed enough, with the already killed 1020 still battling with high price, the 1520 "hit" the shelves at an equally high price.
And before people could even make up their minds on which of the two at a killer high pricing, the confused professors at Mokia comes up with the 1320 at lower than half the price of the two " high" end phones calling it a budget phone - equipped with features that are standard and average for any phone user.
So now with the 1320 starring wp lovers in the face, what about the 1020 and 1520?? Don't even get me started on the next announcement coming up to make you forget any and all of the Lumia phones in existence!
It's called unreliability

Obviously the other Lumia will be the majority of the devices sold. I know many people in Canada that wants this device but can't get it. I live in Canada and I tried to get it via a friend but AT&T would not give out the unlock code. Well, that is 1 less device sold.
Nokia88, 23 Jan 2014This is my theory. I was a Nokia investor (until this morning). Nokia limited the sales of L... moreIf you look at the ASP, you should know that the high end models are but a drop in the water in the total amount of sales. The Lumia 520, 620 and 720 take up the majority of the sales.
This is my theory. I was a Nokia investor (until this morning). Nokia limited the sales of Lumia 1520 to intentionally decrease the amount of handset sales. We voted back in Nov to sell the phone division to Microsoft. If Nokia started to increase the number of Lumia sales devices, the shareholders will not sit well. Hence why only few countries got the Lumia 1520. That is just my theory.
So, a decline in sales on the Windows Phone business, in Q4... This, eventhough prices keep dropping. It was exactly this reason people always brought up, why Elop killed Symbian. In any case, if even Nokia can't sustain a growing line in sales, especially in a Q4 season, it's pretty much done for.
The best part of the Microsoft-Nokia deal, is Elop kicked out from Nokia, may in 2015 we'll see Nokia rises.
AnonD-209094, 23 Jan 2014They sold only 8.2 million Lumia devices and 8.1 million of them was Lumia 520 with no profit ... moreWhere did you get that 8.1m number? Stop spreading lies.
