You're confused. Care to explain why Apple had their strongest ever quarterly earnings of 13.1 billion dollars?
There is nothing to copy from apple, samsung expenses more n more for research and development, Talking about copy then what about micromax and htc???
Htc is also launching fingerprint scanner, copied from apple/samsung.
In india every mobile company are waiting for copying what samsung launch.
they both infringed so no one is better and samsung still owns the market
this is not about the money,,its about originality of each individual company product,
then if you think its about the money then you dont deserve to have phone unit came from samsung or apple
paying millions of dollar is not a shamefull thing but copying security features of other phone company thats a shamefull thing theyve done
AnonD-155636, 03 May 2014It's not the money there after. It's the recognition that Samsung did indeed copy them. Who sa... moreWho lied to you that they are not after the money? They wanted over 2 billion dollars remember..
Apple has already gone downhill since Jobs died. Now they lack innovation and only make money by milking other companies through their alleged patents which are open sourced and they didn't even invent.
How embarrassing for an "innovator" such as Samsung to lack any sort of creativity to have to steal something so simple as swipe to unlock.
Face it. The only thing Samsung is good at is producing plastic clad devices with gimmicks such as eye tracking and hand motion.
They'll never have to worry about anyone stealing such "innovation".
I wonder how long they will continue to pass off plastic devices under the guise of flagships.
Samsung lost in USA, Japan, and on their home ground Korea. Try and use what little brains you have, and try and make a more logical conclusion lol.
Stop drinking the Samsung koolaid, and start dealing with facts. You can recalibrate your settings with this following article:
In the future it will be Samsung hunting down Apple for patient infringement as Apple no longer innovates.

Apple - The Company That Invented Nothing
But Copyrighted Everything! (aka: Square with Round Corners!)
This is how Apple keeps making money and survive. We never heard such news when Steve Jobs were there. Apple is gonna die very soon. Just keep watching. I sold my iPhone 5s and I got the new Galaxy s5, it is way way better, faster and more professional.
Take off the tinfoil hats. There is no US conspiracy theory. Samsung also lost their battle in a Japanese court.
Take it easy guys. $119 million for Samsung is cheap, considering the position they are in now and before they launch their first galaxy phone.
Again a patent that should never have been granted in the first place - "quick links feature that produces links for numbers and URLs in messages" As far as I remember I had this on my Nokia smartphones before 2007. I am absolutely sure that the numbers were highlighted and I could click on them to dial the number. And I am almost certain for the URLs. We can always check the gsmarena reviews of n70 and n73, if I remember well the numbers, to see that the functionality was there.
