M and M, 12 Sep 2014Actually, billionaires can be pretty stupid, especially M$ and Bill Gates and I can give you a... moreid rather be as dumb and stupid if id be as rich as BillGates lol, i guess the consiquence of having a lot of products will leave some if their products behind, remember, they have to focus on their primary windows, then they got xbox 360 to one and many more
AnonD-105795, 11 Sep 2014Nokia brand is more appealing. It's recognized by BILLION of people around the word. Yes, but they got the right to do that. It seems not a very smart move, because the name of Nokia what they paying for also one of the most value name of the deal, plus they could sell it separately in the future. Microsoft phone vs Nokia, I prefer Nokia, more familiar to me.
Look guys, if I sell potatoes with NOKIA written on them and call them smartphones, do you buy them? I guess not. I guess content is actually what matters. Then why do you complain so much about a name!? NOKIA is just a name. It means nothing. It USED TO mean something. Not anymore. Empires rise and fall. NOKIA is no more. Deal with it internally. This article is about a Microsoft phone. Please stop talking about NOKIA. There are people interested in this phone not some nostalgic fantasy. I also had once a Siemens phone. Should I start complaining here about some random Siemens topic?
Ppl hi by a window phone because of the Nokia name and it am going back to Android phone Samsung galaxy are Sony are a HTC
Despite many failed attempts to use Microsoft's name on smart phones, Microsoft still has not learnt from its mistake.
Replacing 'Nokia', which is a widely known quality mobile phone brand, with its crappy 'MS' badge is going to kill the Lumia line.
They had hard time selling devices with Nokia logo, now they gonna sell even worse with Ms logo.

Skype improved and capitalized on good call quality and skype to phone calls, MSN stood virtually unchanged for more than a decade. This is good management vs bad management; at some point M$ had a better product than Skype in almost all aspects and they screwed up doing nothing but watching skype take over.
AnonD-282298, 11 Sep 2014Do u think people are like that idiots nowadays! The answer is yes :)

Will be a shame to just see it go.

AnonD-200220, 11 Sep 2014How stupid can you guys get. Unfortunately the whole world follows america . Iphone and Samsun... moreActually, billionaires can be pretty stupid, especially M$ and Bill Gates and I can give you a list of just a few examples of how they have trashed other products:
-IE was virtually the only browser in the world but from netscape to firefox to chrome, everyone did a lot better than them.
-MSN messenger was the coolest and most loved IM service, again they managed to ruin it by not updating and optimizing it so they bought Skype last year.
-They also tried to start the tablet/smartphone business on their own with surface and failed spectacularly, so they bought Nokia... and so on.
It's not that they're smart; some billionaires were just lucky and they often take dumb and downright stupid decisions.
I love Microsoft branded phone, It was one of my wishes...
Do not place the window logo on the home button!
It is very annoying!
They should keep the front bezel free of any text or logo.
Please learn from Apple how they did design their iPhone.
This is going to be a great phone which ill definitely buy..
Only thing is Microsoft are BAD at distributing their devices outside the US and ON TIME..
Get this right Microsoft don't leave us hung out to dry..
They need to find/design a good logo for these devices.
Microsoft on a phone sounds hatefull. And their regular Microsoft logo is too much ingrained with Windows OS.
By the looks of the screen the next phone gonna be sexy. So while on the topic what will happen to the nokia care stores will they fix the new lumia.
How stupid can you guys get. Unfortunately the whole world follows america . Iphone and Samsung are popular in us so is in the word. And who gives a shit about nokia in America now almost no one. So once ms gets the market in america the world follows.you guys think you are smarter than those billionaires.
To be honest MS can call the handset anything they like. Brand it anyway they want, it will make little if any difference. Don't bother to hide what you are going to be coming out with. It will be a disappointment
I have been a loyal supporter of MS products, however NO MORE. I am tired with what has become consistent products and software that just don't cut it (for me) anymore. Like in history, the rise and fall of empires. Their products fall short of new innovations. They just don't listen or look to see what the market needs, and wants. Each time I wait for their next (move), I am and have been left disappointed.
in my opinion Microsoft is taking a leap to utter failure by changing the brand name from Nokia to Microsoft since most of the buyers loves n trust Nokia rather than Microsoft who are known for their OS rather than hardware, lets hope Nokia banding remains the same at least named by "Nokia by Microsoft"
