With the launch of the Redmi Note 17 lineup in China drawing closer, new details about the upcoming devices have been confirmed by the company. The latest reveals the battery capacity and display size of the standard Redmi Note 17, while also showcasing the phone in a new color option.

Across multiple Weibo posts, Redmi has confirmed that the standard Note 17 will feature a large 7-inch OLED display.

The panel will support a refresh rate of 120Hz, up to 1,200 nits of global brightness, and offer several eye protection features.

Redmi has also confirmed that the Note 17 will pack an 8,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

In a separate post, the company confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 50MP primary rear camera.

Alongside the key specifications, Redmi also showcased the Note 17 in the 'Meteor Purple' color option.

Redmi is set to unveil the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro in China on July 14. A recent benchmark listing suggests that the standard Note 17 could be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, while the Note 17 Pro is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 SoC.

Meanwhile, Redmi has already confirmed that the Pro model will pack a massive 9,000mAh battery and will be backed by a 5-year battery replacement guarantee.
