Last month, Asus re-entered the Android tablet market by unveiling the 12.2-inch Asus Pad. Today, the company has confirmed that the device is headed to India, where it will launch on August 6 at 12:00 noon local time. Unfortunately, the price hasn't been revealed yet.

The Asus Pad's screen uses OLED technology and has a resolution of 2800x1840, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and 2,000-nit peak brightness. The tablet has four speakers which support Dolby Atmos 360, and it's powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage.
