Samsung released the first One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S26 series in May, with the last beta build for the S26 trio rolled out more than three weeks ago. Beta users have been eagerly waiting for the fifth One UI 9 beta, and Samsung has revealed when it will be released.

A Beta Operations Manager on the Samsung Community Forum said that the One UI 9 Beta 5 update for the Galaxy S26 series is scheduled to release next week without mentioning the date, so expect it to arrive any time between August 10 and 15.

That said, it's also worth noting that the Beta Operations Manager shared this on the Samsung Community Forum for South Korea, meaning the fifth One UI 9 beta will begin rolling out in South Korea first and expand to other regions later.

Had every single Galaxy device. Switched from my S26 Ultra to an iPhone 17 Pro. Bad enough as it is that I have to put up with a large device for a decent camera, but then came the red smudge defect every S26 Ultra has, and I was done.
