Apple iOS Rumors

Apple is yet to unveil its first foldable iPhone, but a new report claims the company is already planning its second- and third-generation successors. Apple's first foldable, rumored to be called the iPhone Ultra, is expected to debut this September.

In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman claims that Apple is already planning a second-gen foldable iPhone for 2027. The report echoes an earlier rumor from June, which claimed the second-gen model would retain the same design as its predecessor.

Gurman also says Apple has begun development of a third-generation foldable iPhone, which is expected to feature larger displays on both the cover and the inside.

While the report doesn't reveal the exact screen sizes, Apple's first foldable iPhone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.8-inch foldable inner screen.
