"Two changes the game", "Opportunity doubled", "Dual 8 Elites" - it's pretty obvious what's going on here. The company hasn't confirmed the names yet, but at this rate, that's probably coming soon too.
Anyway, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro will be unveiled on September 22 at the Snapdragon Summit. A leaked AnTuTu 11 benchmark run for the Pro variant recently surfaced, revealing that it managed to score 4,835,412 points. Both upcoming SoCs are expected to be fabbed on a 2nm process.
More like Snapdragon Elite Gen 7 Ultra and Elite Gen 7 Ultra Pro. Companies are totally mental with their namings. And Qualcomm can't keep with a naming scheme for kore then 3 generations.
Next generation will be Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 7 Super Pro Max Ultra Edition. I know because i have a friend that works at Qualcomm.
Snapdragon 8 Elite gen 6 pro ultra 8 edition 6 plus Pro Max Turbo Super Extreme Infinity Edition.
