The Honor Magic8 Pro featured a 50MP selfie camera and a TOF 3D sensor
On the rear, the Magic9 Pro is tipped to feature a 200MP 1/1.28-inch primary sensor with an f/1.57 aperture and 3 degree optical image stabilization (OIS).
The rear camera setup is also expected to include a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 200MP 1/1.4-inch periscope telephoto sensor. Additionally, the phone is said to offer ARRI videography features, similar to the Honor Robot Phone.
Previous rumors have also suggested that the upcoming Oppo Find X10 series could feature a square selfie sensor. However, the Find X10 lineup is reportedly not expected to launch until October.
The collaboration with ARRI and the overall impression from the Magic9 Pro leaks look promising. They should just release it already. The price of the Magic8 Pro will finally start to drop more. π
