One UI 9 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series now rolling out with new S26 and Z8 features

Less than two weeks after the first One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung is rolling out a second beta – and it brings some of the headlining features from the Galaxy Z8 foldables and the Galaxy S26 flagships.

One UI 9 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series was spotted by Tarun Vats. When updating, look for a firmware version that ends in “ZZI4”. Here’s what’s new in this version.

Participating Galaxy S24 owners can now install One UI 9 Beta 2

First, Now Brief supports custom cards, which you can create easily by telling the AI what information you want to be displayed on the card. You can see this in our Galaxy S26 FE review. Additionally, Call Brief is available too.

Samsung is quite proud of the My FanCam feature that was introduced by the Galaxy Z8 foldables and soon Galaxy S24 owners can try it out. It’s essentially a motion tracking system that can follow one person among many and crop in on them.

We say “soon” since betas are not recommended for use on your daily driver phone. It’s best to wait for the stable version.
