vivo Android Rumors

The vivo X500 Ultra is reportedly set to launch in China between March and April next year. A new leak has now revealed more details about the upcoming flagship’s hardware.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the vivo X500 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. This is hardly surprising, as it’s the latest and greatest from Qualcomm.

The phone is also tipped to feature a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display supplied by BOE, with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is said to have a flat design with slim, uniform bezels on all sides, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Additionally, the tipster claims that the smartphone will pack a battery with a capacity of around 7,000mAh. Details about its camera setup remain scarce, but the same tipster claimed in July that vivo was deciding between three 200MP sensors for the phone’s telephoto camera.

Wait, I thought they had canceled the 18 ultra? They had also decided to postpone the modular camera/lens system so I am not sure what Xiaomi can add as the added value over the pro max series...
