OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 7 series will launch in China later this month. Alongside, a company executive has shared details about the dual-airflow cooling system featured in the upcoming lineup.

While OnePlus has yet to announce an exact launch date, it teased the Ace 7 series launch in a short video on Weibo. The upcoming phones are said to bring major upgrades in performance and build quality over the Ace 6 lineup.

OnePlus China President Li Jie has also shared a sketch of the upcoming phones’ rear design showcasing its new dual-airflow cooling system.

The OnePlus Ace 7 series will feature a built-in active cooling fan with two airflow pathways. One stream will cool the chipset and direct hot air out through the side of the phone.

Meanwhile, the second stream will direct cool air towards the rear panel, helping keep users’ hands comfortable during gaming by reducing sweating.

The OnePlus Ace 7 series is rumored to include the standard Ace 7 and the Ace 7 Pro. The lineup is tipped to feature a 200MP main rear camera, pack a 9,000mAh battery, and use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Heat transfer must have reached the maximum for the hotair path. More air passing through is just a waste. So, instead of wasting, the cool airpath is used to reap the unused benefit. Their engineers are applying industrial optimization 101 well.

The heat transfer of the hot air path must have reached a plateau. So the engineers redirect a proportion of the total airflow of the fan to form a cool airpath. Nothing is wasted. Industrial optimization 101.

Wow, they simply drilled one additional hole in the air flow channel and now make a big story about it.
