Earlier this month, the vivo Y600 appeared on the Google Play Console, and vivo has now confirmed its launch in China. vivo has also revealed that the phone will pack a massive 10,000mAh battery.

The vivo Y600 will launch in China on October 30, with pre-orders set to open early next week. It will join the existing Y600 series, which includes the Y600 Pro, Y600 Turbo, and Y600i.

vivo also shared that the Y600 has set a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous livestream test of a smartphone. The test took place on August 11, with the device lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes.

The company showcased the phone in two color options, along with a dual-rear camera setup and a design reminiscent of the recently launched vivo S2 FE. The Y600 is likely a rebranded version of the S2 FE.

Notably, a tipster revealed that the vivo Y600 will be powered by the Dimensity 7300e chipset, feature a 50MP main rear camera, and offer an IP68 rating.

The answer is that there isn't enough space. There’s a teardown video of the Redmi Note 17 Pro showing a 9000 mAh battery and a small motherboard. Now imagine trying to fit a massive camera sensor in there.
