Amazon has launched Prime Big Deal Days – unlike the previous Prime event, this one will only last two days, so you don’t have much time to consider. Here are the best smartphone offers, organized by category.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 trio is up to $420 off. This means that the Galaxy S26 Ultra starts under $1,000 despite the recent price hike. The Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 are just north of $800 and $700, respectively.
As usual, we’ll direct you to our reviews and versus articles for a more in-depth look. The reviews are linked under each phone and here are the versus articles: Galaxy S26 Ultra vs. S25 Ultra, Galaxy S26 Ultra vs. iPhone 17 Pro Max, Galaxy S26 Ultra vs. Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26+ vs. Galaxy S25+.
Moving on to Google’s 2026 flagships, they have smaller discounts, but they still get close to their Galaxy rivals. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is within $20 or $60 of the S26 Ultra, depending on whether you are looking for a 256GB or a 512GB phone. The smaller Pixel 11 Pro is $125 more expensive than the similarly sized Galaxy S26 at the 256GB tier, but the gap closes significantly at the 512GB tier. Or maybe you consider the vanilla Pixel 11 the true S26 rival – then the prices are even closer.
If you need help deciding between the big and small models, we have a Pixel 11 Pro XL vs. Pixel 11 Pro article to help you out. For the small 6.3” models, we have Pixel 11 vs. Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro vs. Pixel 10 Pro.
Unfortunately, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is not part of the Prime Day sale, so this is a purely Samsung vs. Motorola fight. And no, iPhones rarely get discounts like this, so even if the iPhone Duo was out (which it isn’t yet), it wouldn’t be here.
We start with the hot new form factor for 2026, the wide foldable represented by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8. Even with a solid $350 discount, it’s still pretty expensive – and so are most foldables (there are a few cheap flips below, though).
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a continuation of the Z Fold7 form factor. Is a wide foldable or a book-style foldable better for you? Check out Galaxy Z Fold8 vs. Z Fold8 Ultra to help you decide. We also have an article detailing the upgrades over the Z Fold7.
The Motorola Razr Fold didn’t get a Prime Day discount, so we move on to flips.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 is not the cheap flip foldable we mentioned above. It does cost under $1,000, though. At least the 256GB model does. This phone has the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a 4,300mAh battery with slow 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. It has a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide, plus a 10MP selfie.
The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 (note: this is last year’s model) is $700, but it does have older hardware. The phone still offers a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 7.0” LTPO inner display and a 4” cover display, plus three 50MP cameras – wide and ultra wide on the “back” (which you can use for selfies too) and one inside. The battery has 4,700mAh capacity and supports fast 68W wired and 30W wireless charging.
The new Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 is a whopping $1,400, so it costs more than the Galaxy, but it still uses the same Snapdragon 8 Elite as the Razr Ultra 2025. It increases the battery capacity to 5,000mAh, but it doesn’t change much else – certainly not enough to justify doubling the price.
Here are the cheap flips we promised – the Motorola Razr 2025 and Razr 2026 find themselves in a similar situation to the Ultras. They use the Dimensity 7400X and 7450X, respectively, which are essentially the same silicon. The 2026 model at least upgrades from UFS 2.2 to UFS 3.3 storage. And it has a bigger 4,800mAh battery (up from 4,500mAh) with the same 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. Both have 50MP main cameras and 32MP selfies, but the newer model has a 50MP ultra-wide – a neat upgrade over the 13MP UW module of the 2025 phone. Well, considering the Razr Ultra 2025 is $50 less than the vanilla Razr 2026, maybe it's not so cheap.
There’s also the Motorola Razr+ 2026. However, with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and a $1,000 price tag, this one doesn’t have much going for it. Either get the Razr Ultra 2025 or the Galaxy Z Flip8.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2026) gives you a 6.7” canvas, a 120Hz 1220p+ OLED display, and a built-in stylus with which to sketch your ideas. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and has expandable storage. The 5,200mAh battery has fast 68W wired charging plus 15W wireless. The camera setup is pretty nice with a 50MP 1/1.56” main with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide and a 32MP selfie.
However, if you prioritize the camera over the stylus, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is probably the better pick. It has a comparable 50MP 1/1.56” main with OIS, along with a 50MP 3.5x/80mm periscope, an 8MP ultra-wide and 32MP selfie. This one also has a better chipset, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and a larger 6.832” 144Hz 1260p+ OLED display. The 5,080mAh battery supports only 50W wired charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G was not spared a price hike, it’s not just the S-series suffering. The Prime Day discount more than makes up for that, however. The phone is basic, but gets the job done – 6.7” 90Hz 1080p+ display, an Exynos 1330 chipset with expandable storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired-only charging and a 50+5MP camera setup. The phone will receive six OS updates, but keep in mind that this is a 2025 model that launched with Android 15.
The Moto G (2026) is more expensive and yet only offers a 6.7” IPS LCD with 720p+ resolution. It has a 50MP main camera but lacks an ultra-wide (even a wimpy 5MP one like on the A17). It has a 5,200mAh battery with 30W charging and a Dimensity 6300 with expandable storage.
The Moto G Play (2026) is mostly the same phone but for less money. It does have downgraded cameras – 32MP main instead of 50MP and 8MP selfie instead of 32MP – and the 5,200mAh battery only does 18W. And you only get half the storage, though the microSD slot is an easy fix for that.
We may get a commission from qualifying sales.
They forgot to mention the Nothing phone (3). The 12/256GB is $550 and the 16/512GB is $650
