Whilst the Nokia specification suggests that there is no expandable memory card slot, follow this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOx-QgtbVDE&feature=PlayList&p=CB566E263B5B1A57&playnext=1&index=13. The spanish commentaery clearly refers to and shows a micro sd card being inserted above the battery. Im assuming that this is the same spec as UK.
this phone is very voks phone i hav etryed it its very bad phone dont buy this phne
on some of the websites, it says that the nokia 7100 has a memory card slot, when others say that it doesnt! i am really confused! wots the point in the mp3 player if you can't play more that 1 or 2 songs! its stupid!
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2009hai shall v be friendsyes we can dear. wjhats your ph No Mail ID age ETC.
what the hell would one do with a USB port when you dont have any memory?
amega, 07 Feb 2009is this cp can make me happy w/out memory card?!!!it's too bad....huhuhuhai shall v be friends
the nokia website says the memory is only 4mb, but in my 7100 it says i have about 11mb. someone else has posted previously about nokia being misleading about the memory.
i really like this phone, but i dont ever use my mobile for music or camera, so for me the memory issue and poor 1.3 mp camera is irrelevant. it has a really nice long battery life, looks nice and decent net for a cheapish phone.
i like the fact that when the phone is closed and screen dark, the little nokia sign on the side flashes to tell u u have a text/call.
the buttons are also good for texting, and the call and hang up buttons are more turquoise and pink than green/red as the photo on gsm and nokia show. (maybe this is my uk version only) i have it in black.
I don't know what you're bitchin' about... Looking over at sonyericsson, they have a similar handset, the R306, that also has no external memory card and is even more expensive. This has radio for entertainment and comes at a bargain price and doesn't sacrifice good looks... If you really need a memory card in order to turn your phone into an mp3 player, look elsewere. If you have a dedicated mp3 player (as you should if you REALLY enjoy to listen to music) or don't need an mp3 player, this is a good choice...
According to Nokia's website, the available memory is only 4MB and no memory card slot.
That's bad enough since the website says it can play MP3 files. Well, how can you save more than 1 MP3 file for that momory size?
It's a reason why every week or so the price for the phone drops significantly. Better use a 1200 handset haha!!
tJ, 12 Feb 2009shud i get this phone for my birthday? is it good enough?no dear.i don't think so.
good for someone who uses phone for calls texts and wap but not for music and camera (due to low memory) because it's main advantage is its long battery life compared to other phones on the market
Hello. Just wanted to ask a few questions about this phone. 1) How many sms-s can it hold? 2)How many songs can I keep in it? 3) Would you recommend this for a middle-school student? AND 4) From your experience, is the small internal memory a big problem? Thanks for the help!
