I have had nothing but trouble from the Nokia 302.
From low battery life to things not working properly.
This phone has put me off Nokia forever.

pls how do i upgrade my firmware to v.14.78.

turn off 3G, the internet conection option has to be tuned up to "ask first", then upgrade your firmware to V.14.78 via wlan to safe money! Then reduce your screen resolution to 70%! Turn off any unuseful tones exept the ring tones and the battery life shall be exellent:-)

shami, 09 Nov 2012Have you tried connecting Net with WLan? I tried and every time it connects automatically with... moreI had a similar problem. could not connect to WLAN. Then I did a factory default and changed the data settings to WLAN only.

i have read so many complaints about the battery life in this phone.
if you guys wants to increase the battery life then what you need to do is update the firmware to v 14.78 which is the latest firmware for nokia 302.
once updated go to menu -> settings -> lights -> back light and then reduce the brightness of the screen. once done, start using it and i can guarantee you will see a major improvement in battery life....enjoy the phone....its the only asha phone which is the best in the market along with nokia 303.....all this 200, 201, 202, 203, 305, 306, 308, 309, 311 are crap asha phones....

I have to say the phone is awesome in a price range but i have a battery problem it cant last for a day i have it for 2 months
i was using the phone every single day a lot but why battery go bad so fast can i do something to fix it somehow or i need to buy a new one

Dear nokia asha users,i want reply of this mgs.i bought this asha 302 just 2mnths bach but day before i went to nokia care for software firmwire update.after waiting for about 30mins they told its not taking update and it has to b sent at Delhi Head Office.they reported some board problem and it be changed and i get it after 10days.i dnt knw how quickly board prob arised and will i get it really within 10days or it can take more time?they have provided me backup handset to use during these days.pls reply my dear Asha users.Thanking u...

Very good phone, fast internet, good screen, sound is loud and clear and even a camera is very decent for a 3,2 mp shooter... Good deal considering modest price...
