I wanna buy this handset next month. I inquired about the price here in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Here it is priced at Rs. 2300 (Including Tax).

great phone. i am gonna buy this next month. i always wanted a phone with simple and solid features. mp3, 3gp player, GPRS, good battery, 32 GB mem card support and good speaker. most of all i wanted a simple phone without camera. those VGA cam are waste.

is YES or NO
can you make a basic phone
with a good screen (240x320 pixels 256k colors)
with flashlight,built in FM antena?
these things are holding me not to buy
this phone.
i like the design
especially the keypad.
but i really hate the screen.

How is the battery life?
What are the flaws?
I want to keep this as a spare phone.
I already have Samsung C3300D. It's a Non-Camera version of Samsung C3300K. It's good in every aspect. Moreover it's the only branded touchphone available in the market without camera. Mkt price 3.5k. It has everything that C3300k have except camera.
You can consider that if you want a Mp3 touch phone.

They are selling it for 2300. i liked its keys but screen was disappointing and similar to nokia C1. Well didt bought it as it was only available in black color & i was looking for Grey color . So gonna wait for another 10 days.

Why is Nokia not making publicity in TV & media of this handset, unlike the other low cost model 2690 which appear quite regularly in all the channels. Will the publicity of this model affect the sales of Nokia 2690. ? Also which is better handset C1-02 or Nokia 2690.?

The prices of Rs 2400 & Rs 2300 of this model have been ascertained by me thru phone enquiries. Whereas I have personally seen in small shops in Goregaon east, Mumbai this model for Rs 2150. Currently it is available in only BLACK colour. I am interested in dark plum colour. Have you seen this mobile in any other colour apart from black ?? There is also no publicity from Nokia on this model. Most of the shops are still not aware of this handset.

Grey market phones are not imported/marketed by Nokia India and they are sold without a bill. Also, check that the phone you buy is made by Nokia India; it'll be printed on the box.
BTW, WHERE HAVE YOU SEEN THE PHONE FOR 2150 IN MUMBAI? AND WHERE IS IT AVAILABLE FOR 2300?

In Nokia priority it is available for Rs 2400. In other malls in Mumbai at Rs 2300. In the small shops next door it is available for Rs 2150. Even though the difference is only a few hundred Rs , from where to buy ??. Someone told me that these small shops who sell the same model are "grey market" products, hence cheap. So are they inferior in any manner or any warranty issues are there in buying from such shops. Can anyone please guide ??
