u can play 3gp, mp4 and avi in default... moreU r acting just like those apple fanboys here. Accept the fact that WP8 is far from a finished product. If you want a full fledged phone with almost all the awesome features at a mid-budget range then, go for android low end phones or wait for MOTO G 16gb version.
If you want to experience something diff from android then go for Lumia phones.

u can play 3gp, mp4 and avi in default wp8 player..
for other formats download moliplayer...
even ur androids native player also not plays other formats than 3gp n mp4.. u need to install 3rd party apps like mxplayer..
Every smartphone heats dude coz of powerful processors. if u dont wantto face heat then buy basic java phones.
As i told u before file manager is unsecure thing.. wp8 n ios both r top secure os in world now days so both not supports file manager.. system automaticaly sorts n save ur content.
Android is already a unsecure os.. any little baby also told u this thng..
Every os has its own merits n demerits... lots of things r coming with next wp8.1 update.
So dont act like child.. if u want it then get it otherwise do what ever u want to do man.. no 1 forcing u.. :-P

Lol.....u ignorant wp8 LVR...I have already tried playing few HD movies on my friends Nokia 525 and he is unable to play them....all those movies are from YIFY torrent with 1080p.
and heating issues is not a common prob...its a major one.
File Manager is a big issue specially for ppl who move from Android to Windows phone. Its inconvenient not to have file manager.
This is a good phone but it has its shortcomings and u have to accept it. Moto G with 16GB version is a better bet now and it is OTG enabled who complain about low storage capacity

1. With minimal usage the battery lasts more than 24h
2. Sound quality is better than its price point
3. Call quality too
4. With that resolution and those specs u can play virtually all games
5. The camera is probably the best 5MP you can find and it shots faster than most android phones.
This phone is great, like the 520 I used, the only thing Nokia missed here is a camera flash; this is a great value phone for young people and it's really annoying for them not being able to take pictures in pubs and indoors in general.

I have bought lumia 525 10 days back.And I am using idea.I am facing severe call drop issues. Same i was using with my earlier phone but it hadn't any issue regarding call drop.I have also put my phone on 2G mode as i am using 2G service.Still problem is there. Any one here facing this call drop or connectivity issue here?

Those who have complaining about front camera. If ur using 3g or wifi for video chatting then go near to mirror and chat ;)
