is the n73 slow or fast for opening up pictures, menus and texting, if so what is the fastest one to buy especially for texting and openin menus
Who has already replaced it for the 6600? N 73Looks good, pity there is no WLAN, but does it have the same (or more) Contact fields as the 6600? The spec's do not mention an organiser; I want to change my 6600 for the N 73 if Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes are at least equal and can all be synchronised. Please respond.
I love my N73 better than K800 due to more colour in the picture rather than k800. k800 camera color is mroe subtle and toned down.sound is loud plus can be chosen as 3d sound coming out from metal frame speaker from above and below the phone.
Phone construction is solid and feel expensive compare to for example 6680.
One downside: joystick very stiff. I wish they should have used directional thumbpad coz my finger is hurting me when i scroll it too often.
ok guys before i posted that i love the phone and i still do.. and i still reccomend it to everyone but not at that time.. i had it for a day and it has formated alone 5 times.. its a shame that an amazing phone with a very good screen and an excellent camera has this tiny error.. i would advise nokia to make a solution.. COME ON GUYS!!!
please can anyone who has had these different models tell me the best they think between n70, n73 and n80, i've read everything everywhere but still cant make my mind up, i do loads of texting so if any of them is better for texting, and for mp3s, thanks for any info
i m using sony ericsson k800i since 3months and never faced signal problem, however before this phone i was using nokia 6680 and it is very much better than 6680 in terms of signal and battery life
hey i will like to say that N73 Nokia is a wonderful phone bt the only problem is the software that gives some problem.Use N73 u will b more popular coz its really nice.thanks....
Nokia - you idiots. This phone is directed at people like me. Busy Engineers and Managers who need to manage their time. Not the illiterates who sometimes write absolute rubbish on this website. I bought this phone yesterday only to find it doesn't have the single most important feature available on my 6131 (and most other phones)
It doesn't have a repeat alarm function!! So I've got to remember to set the alarm each day or it doesn't wake me up. Now that's a retrograde step if ever i saw one.
The N73 in my optinion is better than the k800i mainly because it has a much better screen. the cameras the same but the screen makes all the difference when taking pictures. the one problem with the phone is that it has problems with handeling more than 3 applications at once, i wouldnt let thisput you off tho, its still king of phones at the moment
Can someone post a list of comparison between n80 and n73? Thanks a lot...
It's PhP 31,000. Saw this one at the nokia store the other day. Imma buy one tomorrow! WoooHoOoOOoOoooOo!
guys i got the n73 today and its great. the best camera till now.. even better than k800 believe me i had it and yea ok its good but n73 is much better.. the sound quality is good but i think that nokia should have made the buttons bigger?? but its still great.. u have more options than the n80 but y didnt they put a memory card with it?? but guys which is better n73 or n93?? i was going to get n93 but its too big and too expensive its like $900.. but thats not the problem.. so any comments?? and yea i recommed this phone to any1 i didnt like it but when i bought it i fell in love with it.. CHEERS!!!
i had similar problem before with my 6600. i later found out that i did not have the correct proxy(IP address) while connecting.
im not sure if its the same problem with ur phone but jus trying to help.(chechk the IP address)
I would say the N73 is better than SE K800 for 1 simple reason. Nokia handsets are probably the best for signal strength & SE are the worst i've come across !
Any one can tell me if N73 is better or SE K800i is better. I heard N73 system is still unstable at the moment. However SE's joystick seems to have problems. Can anyone give me their advice. Thanks.
This is a very good phone- I posted earlier that I bought it and I returned it the next day because of bugs and the software is not stable. Honestly, people, it is my advice to not buy it till the new firmware is ussued plus it will be cheaper.
The camera- is beautiful - wonderful pictures taken - its is really great - when it does not hang on you.
The buttons are small but are perfect for texting - the buttons sort of mould to your fingers making very accurate key presses - as is the whole balance of the phone which is perfect and well thought of .In this respect, it is better than the N80 which I exchanged the N73 for.
The screen is great .
The build quality is the best I ahve seen out of Nokia lately . I have had a very sqeaky and loose 6125 and now and great N80 but with a creaky battery cover.
The N73 has Lifeblog 2.1 in it for those who like blogging.
It has alot more prinitng options than the N80 for those who enjoy bluettothing stuff over and Bluetooth is V2.0 .
BUT ............. the software is unstable right now. I bought this phone at a premium price and I had a lot of bugs etc. It makes better sense to hold your horses and wait for the firmware update and the price to drop abit. Excellent phone- the best yet when the firmware is fixed.
I bought the phone from Findland and it was made in Finland. However, sloth-speed-moving Cyprus Telecommunications Authority does not yet have the GPRS settings for this phone. So I had to do it manually and I must have made some mistake. The phone shows that it has a connection to the internet but ALL webpages come out blank white. Nokia has no support over the phone whatsoever either
The idea for Symbian (or software enabled) phones is good. But the execution from Nokia is awful. There are at least 5 different places where you need to enter settings (if you were to do it manually). Nokia software designers must have been drunk or something.
As far as the autolock is concenred, it is either the bigger blunder in the history of mobile phones, or NOKIA is short of cash trying to get 5 euros for the software.
Overall is a nice phone, but to set it up you need to be a science fiction wizard of oz. In the end, making and receiving calls is all you do and you could have done that with a 200 euro less phone.
