Hey, Nashville N8 here... been using the N8 for 3 days now. Still need to learn everything. I haven't had time to dig way deep into it. I'm still trippn' over this phone. Honestly, I like the new OS. At this poing I could never go back to a non-touch Nokia.

if my N8 is turned out to be CHINA MADE .. i will surely return it ...., am sorry i won't accept any china made device Ever .... i will pay extra 1000 dollars to get a Finland made Device not China crap !
Raja and co. , Dont waste your time,
Do you have any idea how to reboot the phone. After I download OVI file , its auto off. And when I on it , it hang at the Nokia logo. Try to do soft rebooting but not able to off the phone......I try to avaoid uncrew the battery because I have no time to purchase the screwdriver of that size.
same old symbian problems start here
Keeps rebooting too often and sometimes not responding. Power button pressed 8s does nothing, only vibrates.. How i can hard reset?
Script warnings about facebook and shuts down application...
Is anyone else having same problems?
AMANITA, 14 Oct 2010The wait ll be over söon ! Whatz the colour of ur N8 ?Im getting the orange one... Im in the USA how about you...
At least this Smart Phone N8 from Nokia is not some monumental letdown with certain hard/soft umlike the sudden appearances of HTC WP7 clones.
They do not have the capabilities soft/hard to cut some mustard. Whereas the N8 covers everything apart from Gsensors & lazar guided missile Launchers, gravity warp drives etc... you et the point Sarg!
Today I saw this amazing phone in market
I had guessed that the price is acceptable;because it has three blank price money group
But it was so expensive
maybe the price will be cheaper later
I'm here to plant a thought which will maybe take on root...(nevermind my lunacy ^_^).
About a month ago gsmarena wrote about Nokia's mobile TV Headset, DVB-H, which is all you need to turn your mobile device into a portable television. Basically, anywhere mobile DVB-H (Digital Video Broadband – Handset) coverage exists, you can tune into sports events or TV shows and watch them without worrying about an Internet connection. And they said "DVB-H coverage is still patchy in many countries." meaning your mileage may wary and all that sh*+. Well, why DVB-H? Why not DVB-T instead? The headset is still an antenna so the only difference would be in the boxy controller thingy where you just put the right decoders and you are ready to watch tv on this baby. I have a digital DVB-T receiver at home the size of a deck of cards, its connected via SCART interface. The size could be reduced if they omitted the USB and SCART port. So, unless there are some major voltage differences between the two standards why cant someone from china invent this little box that will make the N8 a truly perfect multimedia powerhouse? (I haven't done my research so please be kind ^_^). Cheers!
can any N8 user tell me how to use cut/copy/paste function with SMS text... as i do in my N72...?
How to select multiple sms at once to delete.. but i m not asking about "mark all" option..?
I dont know whether the question I am about to ask is right for this page.....when will E7 come to market?(Delhi) I hope E7 will be more succesful than N8. what do you guys say?

I liked this phone
Unfortunately met a very bad experience on the 2nd day of launch in India. While I was having my hands on N8 in a Nokia Priority store, a customer walked in and complained poor volume during call on the handset he had purchased in the morning. The Nokia Priority person took the plea that N8 has some software issue which creates nuisance with vodafone sim card and assured that Nokia will issue a software update soon. The customer was demanding money back and the shopkeeper was equally firm on putting that person off by hook or crook.
If a phone cannot allow users to call, what is it then for!!!!
Anyhow, i liked the phone but postponed my purchase for a couple of months until all the manufacturing defects of N8 are revealed.
