Hello. I still have the preinstalled Ovi Maps 3.04. It seems to be a very good mapping software and all the map data of my country with street maps are there. My question is, can I still use the existing map data of Ovi Maps 3.04 on 3.06? And how do I uninstall 3.04? It doesn't show in the Application manager. Please reply. Thanks.

Just say your a first timer to ovi store, are you willing to see free apps or paid apps when you first enter. If ovi store showed all of the paid apps in the first page, it might give the impression to the first timer that ovi store lacks free apps and he might steer clear from ovi store.
IMHO, ovi store should do some research and post new apps. There are some apps such as Voice modulator for symbian^3 (google it) which i can only find in forums but not in ovi store.

You guys are lucky, the price of a HD game is same in ovi store and gameloft's official website in my country. Well is at least cheaper than the crappy java games my carrier is offering

please assist the new apps update 1.0 i was downloading it but my freeze during downloading so when i want to install it again it did not it states no updates available but when going to update history it shows apps update 1.0 installation cancelled is where any other way for me to get that update installed i also try it thought ovi pc but also says up to date

Tjaart, 14 Jan 2011What is the battery life like on the N8pretty good, if you use it for just messages and occasional calls, a good 3 days. But if you use it full on, like messaging calling wifi music web browsing gps, you get about 1.5 - 2 days

They are developing meego os which is actually maemo 6. Reason they change the name beacuse they are merging maemo and intel's moblins for meego os. Which is nearly finished. Wait for it at MWC. They will announce meego os phone nokia n9 at MWC. I heard it's a dual core phone with lot's of feature...

I noticed that N8 lost its first position in the "By daily interest" to Motorola Atrix. Well finally people lost their interest in harassing N8 and try to move their battle of the word to other product.

[deleted post]In US (Amazon.com) N8 is cheaper than C7 in that case N8 for sure). You will never regret if you buy N8, but if your budget is a restriction, Why would you regret if you bought C7? Its a simple choice
