hi anyone who is considering to buy a nokia n900 i think you should it really is a great phone/tablet im actually using it right now to write my comment.
firstly the internet experience i.e web browsing is amazingly close to a full desktop like experience honestly it i really that good, intergated IM and skype on the is awesome because of the tactile keyboard...
secondly the apps amount of apps may not be a alot but mostly all of are useful check out maemo.org also the multi tasking of the phone is truly unbelivible run as many apps and do as many task as you want with little lag ...
thirdly the multimedia aspect is great, virtually any type of media from any source anywhere it will play on the phone like divx .avi, also the camera is really good but not great.
the disadvantages are battery life it ranges from a day to a day and a half like most other smart phones with stanard use... the built in ovi maps navigation is okay-ish to say the least lacks major features and dosent gel quite well since its not the symbian ^3 version, also 'nokia care' blows fudge monkeys its really bad lol with a lack of official support, lastly the hacking and modding aspect of the phone is not for all simply, if you have heard and know of linux this phone is perfect for you...
In conclusion you might be thinking im not a hacker or modder, i want a phone that just works, i say why have that when you can have it work the WAY you want it to tailoured to your needs just buy it and you will have no regrets its that good.

Hardik, 14 Jan 2011Hi Rajesh,
Try installing "bluetooth Dial-Up Networking". The description says it... moreHardik, Bluetooth dial up networking is used to connect laptop or dekstop pc to mobile and mobile will act as internet modem and u can transfer file from computer. i am talking about a application which is helpful to transfer data from mobile phones.. on ur mobile screen it will show all the data of phone and sim memory of other phone.. its a very good application used to steal, copy or download data from other mobile phone.. U can google it as " Blue FTP ".. I used to have it when i was using nokia 5310, whic was a jar phone. Amazing application but we have to find it for our tablet.. Guys plz post this in our maemo community as well..
