Stubaw, 16 Sep 2009The screen 'size' is not the same. Sure it's 3.5" but the N900 has a 480p screen. You mean the screen resolution is different but the screen size is the same 3.5".

This is a well thought-out phone, and for me it ticks all the boxes that the iPhone falls short on.
-TACTILE QWERTY keyboard
-High quality video/photos
-Easier to develop Apps, less red tape (App Store)

That device with 3.5" screen same as N97 should be called N97M (it means N97 maemo) so is the N97 with maemo OS.
Because the N900 has the same:
Anonymous, 15 Sep 2009What are the popular maemo apps for n900? Let me start with a list 1. firefox? 2.Opera?... moreThis phone has zero chance of running Open Office or most of those things on your list, it just doesn't have the power, even Netbooks struggle with some of them and they are far more powerful than this.

N900 review, one of the first:
It isn't very professional, but it gives some important information. One of them is that the screen is significantly upgraded from the N97 in three different ways:
- Better touch responce
- Better in direct sun-light (unconfirmed though)
- MUCH better display quality (due a higher ppi, pixel per inch)
Look at the N900's spec sheet: it has ZERO "no". Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I've never ever seen a phone that has ALL specs of the ones listed at GSMArena...

But take a look at how resesitive coding is getting closer to capasitive
Big example touch pro 2 it's really responsive man and if you watch the vid nothing is wrong with the screen your just hyped up on it cause the iphone has it

If n900 is capacitive, there is possibilty that maemo hackers will bring multitouch to us!!!!!
