If this phone not match your requirement just leave it survive for those who affordable to use this product and you don't complain why nokia made 1200 torch phone with price $30. Nokia not force you to buy n900 don't take it serious.
I believe person leave comments here they experience enough no need you to guide
if you don't like the phone then don't buy it. sick and tired of you people always complaining and comparing this to the iphone. if you want a gaming phone then buy the Iphone and be done with it, if you want a phone that's basically an pc in your pocket then buy a HTC Pro, Samsung Omnia, Xperia, NOKIA NSERIES PHONES and be done with it.Compasitive to
Resistive touchscreen phone and reality who cares about it except the person who purchase the phone. These companies are doing their best to bring the consumer the best but no way can they make the perfect phone, because we humans are never satisfied
Can I put N97s battery in N900? Will it work?
N900----The battery must be changed & the video call feature must be added....thats it
other than that, Fantastic

the one thing, in my opinion, that needs to be changed is the battery. barely a day or less? hideous.
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2009What... Disk space? No offence, but there is no phone out there that can store as much as the ... moreYour child behaviour did not allow you to check the Iphone with 32Gb.
I can understand when you grow you will understand what am saying.
Take care little boy.
deep space bar, 16 Sep 2009you must be retarded itouch is an mp3 player and n900 is.not a straight camera phone like n86 ... moreI think you should be less agressive and use that strengh to be more intelligent but I understand that is a limitation that you have.
If you do not understand when I mention Itouch is just to say about the disk space that a small product can have 64Gb
Also if you do not understand about the camera, I can explain again the N86 has capability so Nokia know how to do just install the same functionality into N900.
I explain about 2 types of group the one that understand about the product and the that does not understand now I know where you come from.
This is my future phone !
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2009Thanks for the Feedback. If really exist a conflict of interest in terms of OS you are fine... moreAnother reason why nokia may never use the snapdragon is because of its association with qualcomm.. For those who understand the battle between these two companies understand why u may never see qualcomm hardware on nokia devices.

That device with 3.5" screen same as N97 should be called N97M (it means N97 maemo) so is the N97 with maemo OS.
Because the N900 has the same:
**Screen Size
**Same Camera
**Same Storage"
Wrong.
Wrong.
And wrong.
The N900's screen is much better in every single way: touch responsibility, sun-reflection and resolution. Its area is slightly bigger as well.
The N900's camera is very different from the one in the N97. The only common thing they share is the still-image resolution, while everything else is different.
The N900's storage only memory is "smaller" than the N97's (31GB vs 32GB), while it's muuch better overall. That's because about 1GB of the memory is used as virtual memory, thus making a big difference in multi-tasking.
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2009Do not buy the N900, We have power, Nokia has to understand that: **We drive the markert; **... moreSnapdragon is inferior to Cortex. The future 1GHz Cortex is as powerful as a 1,5GHz Snapdragon. Remember, just like MP:s, MHz:s aren't everything as well... care to consider the GPU and the virtual memory as well? Of course not, because then the N900 would beat the crap out of the Leo and the like...
In my case, it is moooore than enough since i don't care about video, camera as long as the Ram & Rom tooo big and the processor is 600mz, i t will be the phone of the year..cool

Anonymous, 16 Sep 2009Thanks for the Feedback. If really exist a conflict of interest in terms of OS you are fine... moreUnderstandible, thats why i didnt place any judgement on the screen memory and, camera resolution. Cause those are not compomised as the hardware platform relative to OS.. I also have a gripe about its battery capacity. 1500mah should of been standard in my opinion, consdering eseries models such e52 and e55 have them and it doesnt seem inflate the overall cost of the devices..
waoo... i like this phne

If really exist a conflict of interest in terms of OS you are fine. What you said is OK
But for the below specification there is no excuse at all:
**Screen Size
**Camera Resolution
**Disk Space
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2009Do not buy the N900, We have power, Nokia has to understand that:
**We drive the markert;
**... moreFirst, I would like to say that I admire your admiration of being a concious consumer. You make valid points in terms of implementing certain hardware, however I think it is imparative that u must understand a couple things.
1. In regards to its processor, the ARM Cortex is very capable of operating the device with a considerable amount of work load. You must remember that it is assisted with a graphic processor as well, so the graphical work load is not primarly being on the main core. So its almost as if it is using a hybrid method of processing. Thus offering the highest performance without compromising the processor.
2. In regards to hardware, there are various factors that play a role in manufactures impementing hardware, liscence's, OS (Such as proprietary driver), and software compatibility. Its not easy to just say use certain hardware if the OS is not compatible with the hardware. So 'we' as consumers must assume that the may be a conflict of interest in the hardware or licence (Plus the Humming Bird processor is in process so it is like that Nokia may wait for higher performance without compromising familiarity with the hardware platform).
