800 $ for N95 ! This is just a phone ! You can buy a complete laptop computer for that price. Going for a mid price phone (5610 for ex) is far smarter.
thts actually the most easiest choice to make...go for the 1 thts a better PHN...one of thm is all bout the camera...camera is ths, camera is tht...but dude 1st of all its a PHN...i mean cmon..every time they try to compare THT wth THS its all bout the camera...talk bout smthin else dude...thn we'll see which 1 is better...so if u know wat i mean by THT n THS...go for THS!!! :D
If only the K850 was anywhere near as good as you make it sound. i have read 3 reviews comparing the camera on the K850 to the N95 and have had first hand experience with both handsets. And i am afraid that there is only one conclusion here:
The n95 camera is better. In fact, the N95 is better in general.
Mate, i think what gsmarena meant by "no 3rd application support" is for GPS feature only! Nokia uses its built-in GPS receiver for Nokia Maps!
Dude perhaps this program SMS export might help you in trnasferring your messages from phone memory to memory card! http://www.symbian-freeware.com/download-sms-export.html . Good luck!
In gsmarena.com review they said " no 3rd party apps support" is it mean that u can't install symbian9.1 apps.
I second the motion! Thanks GSM Arena Review Team! Although, I have this unit 2 weeks ago!...Thank God I did the right choice! Viva Nokia!
THANKS A TON to the GSM ARENA team for reviewing the N95 8GB handset!
I was contemplating on buying this phone and was just waiting for this review... now I'll buy this phone immediately.
@ GSMarena admins,
thnx a LOT for the review...ths phn is WICKED!!! :D
For those using RotateMe version 2.0, Beta 2 is now available. Some improvements:
- Auto start at phone boot
- Try to reduce battery consumption by totally deactivating auto-rotation
after 60sec of inactivity (press a key or unlock the key pad, if locked, to
- Auto rotation deactivated during a call
To Gsm arena team!
Hey all, thanks for the review.
I personally feel that both N95 devices hold their metal. And Cost vs quality ratio for both is almost equal. Unless u r a power user, its just a matter of taste.
We have different aspect in choosing mobilephone! it depends on our needs!I don't rely on camera only...whether its XENON or LED dosen't matter too much to me! What is missing in SE K850 is the WLAN which matters to me a lot! CIAO
the last comment seems soooooooo from a typical SE fan..i mean cmon..stop talkin nonsense bout ths phn..coz i know tht evn u know which 1 is better..N95 8gb or K850/wateva...
this phone thogh have gud features but what does LED flash is doing in this phone??? it should have been xenon flash!!!! If u r going phone,so please leave it now nd buy sony ericsson K850, it's better.
The review says this:
"In other words: if you want to make use of the built-in receiver you have to rely on Nokia maps. In case you want to go for another software solution you will have to purchase an external Bluetooth GPS receiver."
Well that ain't true. Nokia is a b?+ch and they want you to think that you can use only their software. I live in Croatia, and the only GPS software you can buy in croatia for N95 is GARMIN GPS SOFTWARE! Nokia maps do not support Croatia.
