Nothing Smart wearables AI

In September 2025, Nothing CEO Carl Pei revealed that the company planned to launch its first AI-native products in 2026. Now, staying true to that promise, Pei has confirmed that Nothing's first AI-native product will debut next month.

While Nothing has yet to reveal what the product actually is, Pei has offered a few hints in an article shared on X, staying true to the company's teaser-driven approach.

According to the Nothing CEO, its first AI-native product will not feature a screen. Pei also confirmed that the product “couldn’t have been an app”. The article includes a teaser image, but it only offers a glimpse of a device with rounded corners and curved edges.

No further details about the device have been shared so far. However, Pei notes that it will have the “personality and care” associated with a Nothing product. He also explained that the company was in a great position to develop it because it designs both its hardware and software under one roof.

The article also discusses how artificial intelligence is expected to evolve into something that works for us, while continuing to serve as a productivity tool. It further suggests that new technologies typically win people over in the workplace before making their way into homes.

Nothing is also rumoured to be developing AI-powered wearables, including smart glasses with and without cameras.
