OnePlus Android

Back in October we started hearing rumors about an upcoming new lineup from OnePlus called Turbo. The full specs for the first device in this line then leaked later that month, and now the company has officially confirmed this series.

Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, took to Weibo to announce the Turbo range, commemorating 12 years of OnePlus' existence. The Turbo devices will "inherit the powerful performance genes" of OnePlus flagships, while leading with the strongest battery life in their class, and providing "an unprecedented gaming experience".

Interestingly, Li has also revealed that in China OnePlus will end 2025 with the biggest sales growth of any smartphone brand, at 40% over 2024. And next year, with the Turbo line, the company wants to improve gaming "to bring the ultimate experience to more people".

According to the aforementioned leaks, the first OnePlus Turbo smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen with "1.5K" resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and will have an 8,000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. On the rear will be a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide.
