OnePlus thinks you should upgrade from your Pixel to the 12R

OnePlus Android

OnePlus launched the 12R internationally this year, for the first time (previous R models have been India-only). And the company seems very proud of this device, saying things like "the flagship killer is back" and launching a special Genshin Impact Edition even.

Today a new ad was found (most likely on Facebook) by the folks over at 9to5Google in which OnePlus is telling you to "upgrade from your Pixel" to the 12R in order to get "more bang" for "less bucks".

OnePlus thinks you should upgrade from your Pixel to the 12R

It's interesting that OnePlus is targeting Pixel owners specifically. What it's offering is no joke however - the OnePlus 12R can be yours in the US from just $399.99 with a trade-in of any device in any condition. That's a guaranteed $100 off with not a lot of hassle.

And if you trade-in specific devices in good working condition, you can get an additional bonus, up to $450. So theoretically you could even grab a 12R for free - in practice it doesn't quite work that way since the highest trade-in amounts are always for top of the line devices, and we assume no one is trading an iPhone 15 Pro for a OnePlus 12R.

If you want to learn more about the OnePlus 12R, make sure you don't miss our in-depth review of it.
