A couple of days ago, Oppo announced it will introduce the K9 Pro on September 26 while giving us a glimpse of its design and confirming the 64MP primary camera and MediaTek chipset. The company has now revealed the SoC is the Dimensity 1200 SoC.
Oppo also revealed that the K9 Pro will sport a 120Hz AMOLED screen with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10 certification, but it doesn't tell us the panel's diagonal or resolution. However, thanks to TENAA, we know this is a 6.43" FullHD+ display.
The K9 Pro will pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 60W charging and feature a cooling system with a heat dissipation area of 14,000mm2. The smartphone will have an NFC chip on board and support Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connectivity. It will be 8.5mm thick and weigh 180 grams.
Oppo has confirmed the 8GB/128GB variant, and since the K9 Pro is touted as a gaming smartphone, it will come with the 4D Vibration feature for a more immersive gaming experience.
A video clip posted by Oppo also shows us the K9 Pro's retail package and in-box contents. You can watch it below.
Alongside the K9 Pro, Oppo will introduce the Watch Free and a 75" Smart TV on September 26, but the company hasn't divulged much about these products yet.
