Oppo is making the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro official in China tomorrow, and ahead of that the brand has revealed some details about the Pro model's specs.

It has a 6.83-inch screen just like its predecessor, but this one is fully flat. The new phone also ups the ante when it comes to battery capacity: 6,200 mAh vs. 5,800 mAh. Additionally, the Reno14 Pro gets a 50 MP 16mm ultrawide camera with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus, which is quite a huge upgrade compared to the Reno13 Pro's measly 8 MP ultrawide.

These are all the specs that Oppo has revealed so far. Tomorrow we'll find out about all the rest, of course. There have been rumors about the Dimensity 8400 SoC running the show, 'confirmed' somewhat by a benchmark run, which would again be a very nice upgrade vs. the Reno13 Pro's Dimensity 8350 (despite what the small increment might have you believe).

What's a shame is the small x3.5 JN5 f2.8 telephoto sensor, an IMX882 at f2.6 was easily enough
