Oppo Android

Today Oppo has showcased a smartphone, called Oppo Ace Infinity. According to the company, it will arrive with FreeVOOC air-recharging technology which can achieve a stable charging power of 5-10W within 10 meters. There’s even a short promo video, explaining the technology a bit.

The video says the Free VOOC coil is embedded in the rim of the Ace Infinity. There is an absorption layer, a conversion layer and a conductive material that essentially keeps the battery charged forever.

The company calls this “the future of wireless charging” and what better time to announce this entirely plausible technology on the first day of April when everything on the news is real and no one is making any pranks.
