Good phone, not the best that is for sure, but for the price you pay not bad at all. Design is much better as I thought with a full gorilla5 glass body (plastic frame doh) and nice color flow. The camera is good, but the cam software is a bit to basic and does not remember your settings. For instance standard it is on 4:3 12M-pixels if I set it to 4:3 48M-pixel the photo's are top notch, but as soon as you leave the cam app it resets to 4:3 12M-pixels and that is a shame. Surely not bad at all. Gcam is not supported, but gcam is not the holy grail of cam software. The cam software on the phone is basic, but it is enough to get decent and good pictures that goes beyond the average. Especially when set to 48M-pixels .

MTK is the best priced chips on the market, only thing cheaper may be Unisoc but they are still stuck in 2014 with their 28nm unlike MTK which has 12nm which is AMAZING!!! O3O

I have oppo reno Z since a week anf I'm happy with it.
My last device was an 3 years old honor 8 and the performance is similar, a bit better in oppo reno z.
Pros: the screen, the sound of double speaker, the battery life and the jack 3,5mm (and Fm radio is on my device, europe version)
Contras: camera app is ugly and simple, i can't disable google and chrome apps, so ok google is always ready to start. Battery stats are poor (no graphics, no screen on time)
But I have paid less of 300€, so It's good price for the quality of this oppo mid range device.
PD: I have august security google patch, no bad, similar to honor with the updates.
