Poco made a big splash in late November, launching the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra in Bali, a mere eight months after their predecessors. This is an unusual launch timeline to say the least, but the brand felt like it couldn't wait any longer, and it wanted its new Ultra to be among the first devices on the market using Qualcomm's latest top of the line chip, and not among the last like the F7 Ultra was.

We've already published our full in-depth reviews for both the F8 Ultra and the F8 Pro, and today our Poco F8 Pro video review is ready and fresh out of the oven. You can enjoy it right here, just hit Play and come along for the ride.
The Poco F8 Pro is a pretty great deal if you can take advantage of the early bird offers. It comes with last year's top chip, sure, but the Snapdragon 8 Elite is definitely no slouch even today. And while the F8 Pro doesn't have the Ultra's subwoofer and 2.1 audio system, its speakers are still tuned by Bose, and there are three proper cameras on the back, even though the ultrawide is a disappointing 8MP. But there's a telephoto there too now, unlike what the F7 Pro had to offer, and the battery has grown somewhat too.
So all in all it's a very competitive device at its price. Our video review goes into every important bit, don't miss out.
Just get the f8 pro, the 8 elite gen 5 isn't worth the extra cash, but I'd sure as he'll pay extra for the bigger screen and battery.
It can't roll back. I have a Poco M6 Pro 4G that shipped with MIUI 14. I updated to HyperOS 1 which i dislike as it is more restrictive in terms of using MIUI themes and has the Iphone like bar option at the bottom screen instead of the 3 capaci...
Carlos Ramos remember never be the early bird that downloads and installs the next update like a buffoon. Always wait and only update when it's unavoidable.
