zavi go to dial screen and try *#*#4636#*#* then choose phone information then scrol your screen then select gsm only not the cdma

Hi to use 3G on this cell phone.
It has just one 3G band and my cell is not picking the 3G signal instead it works on edge. guide me about it.

even i tried to contact Pantech by email but they say that they can not give me the answer !!!!!

Dear members, thank you for your comments and help for each others.
i am actually living in Qatar, i bought a SIM from Ooredoo, but i am facing actually a problem with sending SMS through my Pantech Vega Racer II A830L: i receive SMS from my friends, but always fail to send or reply to SMS.
i followed the ##7593# and Go SMS Pro solutions but i didn't really succed to send any SMS and the problem always exist.
can any one help me please.
