It seems Google sneaked in a useful feature in the Play Store app when no one was looking. Previously, when you ran out of storage, you would just be informed that the storage is full. This would then prompt you to run around all over the place, deleting things.
With this feature, which we are not sure when it was added, Play Store now presents a list of installed apps so you can delete them immediately instead of going over to the app manager to uninstall them.
Uninstalling apps is an age-old advice that everyone gives whenever someone complains about their phone running slow or running out of space. It's good to see Google incorporating it within Play Store itself.
