The Poco C31 is powered by the Helio G35 SoC and comes with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage onboard. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion by up to 512GB.
The C31 runs the dated Android 10 out of the box, and Poco takes pride in offering the phone to its customers without any advertisements in the UI.
The smartphone's built around a 6.53" 20:9 HD+ screen with TUV Rheinland Reading Mode Certification. The screen also has a notch for the 5MP selfie camera.
The polycarbonate back of the smartphone flaunts a dual patterned design and houses a triple camera system comprising 13MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units. Below these cameras is the Poco logo, and on the right side, slightly below, is the traditional fingerprint reader.
The C31 comes with rubberized seals and P2i nano-coating to protect the SIM tray and ports from moisture, dust, and water splashes.
The Helio G35-powered smartphone is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery, claimed to easily go through 1,000 charge cycles.
The Poco C31 is offered in Royal Blue and Shadow Grey colors and will go on sale in India starting October 2 through Flipkart. The 3GB/32GB model is priced at INR8,499 ($115/€100) and 4GB/64GB at INR9,499 ($130/€110).
However, as a part of the launch offer, both variants will be available with a discount of INR500 ($7/€6). Besides, those buying the smartphone using Axis Bank or ICICI Bank's credit/debit cards will get an additional 10% discount on their purchase.
Poco c3 and Poco c31 is basically same. Don't know what Poco/xiaomi is smoking nowadays. May be they are targeting C3 customers who missed out fingerprint scanner.
