Redmi Watch Move is official with a refreshingly low price

Xiaomi introduced a new wearable in India - the Redmi Watch Move. It is a basic smartwatch with some lovely features, such as an AMOLED screen and long battery life for a device in this price segment.

The Redmi Watch Move has a 1.85” rectangular screen with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels. It has 600 nits brightness, which Xiaomi says is “segment's best,” and the panel is also "segment's smoothest."

The wearable is also the best in its price range, with a 97% accuracy of heart rate detection and an ultra-long battery life of 14 days.

The cell inside is 300 mAh, which, combined with the HyperOS, can provide “two weeks on a single charge” with typical use. Turning on the Always-On Display would lower the battery life to five days.

There are 5 watch face layouts and over 200 options, most of which support AOD. Since Redmi is launching the device in India, it comes with festive designs inspired by local traditions and holidays.

Redmi Watch Move weighs 25 grams without the strap or 39 grams with the TPU band. It is 10.8 mm thick and has a functional crown button on the side. The device is IP68 rated and comes with Hindi language because of the localized launch.

Other features worth mentioning are 140+ sports modes, auto-detect for 7 of them, Bluetooth calling, and tracking sleep, SpO2, Stress, and HR.

Redmi Watch Move

Xiaomi offers the Redmi Watch Move for INR 1,999, which is equivalent to $25/€23. It comes in four colors: Silver Sprint, Black Drift, Blue Blaze, and Gold Rush. Availability begins on April 24 at 12 PM local time, when the watch can be pre-ordered on mi.com and Flipkart.
