Now, that's a decent battery that can actually last almost a whole day.

The only thing it lacks is at least some IP67 splash resistance.

George, 18 Feb 2019The screen looks gorgeous even in HD+. Just tried it out today in a retail store. Really nice ... more720p displays look crap even on 5 inch phones when viewed next to a 1080p screen with same size. There is no reason to buy the G7 series unless you are a die hard Moto fan, the Redmi Note 5 and 6 pro and even Nokia 6.1 plus are much better for less price and mind you the Redmi 6 pro camera supports dual pixel autofocus too with large 1.4 micron pixels rare in budget smartphones.

Do u Know why its not available anywhere else? Because the phone is crap.
Nothing works great except the battery. LCD bleeding is there. 16 MP cam is like years old nokia's 2MP camera. They can sell it through retail stores for high price. But they won't. Become costomers will use it first and no one will buy it with that display and camera.

Moto G7 power is available here in retail stores for same 14999 rs. In retail stores, its competition will be with Samsung's j series and oppo phones. Considering those phones, moto offering good. If its online exclusive, then price will be 11999 rs.

You guys have no idea.
Motorola devices are the least problematic phones in their price range. Really durable and made to last in most extreme conditions (drops, dust, water, fire, soft drinks) even if they're not IP rated. Software wise NOBODY beats Motorola's skin and awesome gestures, not even OnePlus.
Know your facts before bashing. These Moto G's don't need a better processor. I still have the original Moto X with dual core processor when everyone had Quad Cores and still runs faster than all the flagships from other OEMS from that time. The original Moto G is getting January 2019 security patch just now, so many years after. If you don't like these devices stop bashing them because you can't play Fortnite on this chipset and go praise your Chinese brands. Let us niche people enjoy our quality products and useful software additions in peace.

Just tried it out today in a retail store. Really nice brightness levels and colours. Snapdragon 632 is good enough if you're not a benchmark freak. I've been using the regular Moto G7 in the last week and this thing is so optimized to use this hardware, it's almost as fast as my Z2 Force in day to day apps. No lag. What I like most is Moto's renewed one button nav gestures on Android Pie, they are sooooooo much better than on the Pixel 3 XL. Really makes you want to stick with this phone. I keep going back and forth between the Z2 Force when I use the Mods, the Pixel when I want the camera and this one mostly because of those awesome gestures and brilliant design. It's way more beautiful in person. I've loaded the Pixel camera app and it takes beautiful shots, but sometimes during the day the Moto Camera can take better.

It's massive, heavy and has no redefining feature, but that's some amazing battery capacity and endurance. Makes 80 percent reason to get this phone. Just proves how more OEMs are missing out by not putting the biggest possible battery and wasting efforts on slimness, multiple cameras and notches. Sure, they will say 'But it's optimised". But does it hurt to have capacity AND optimisation?

HD display, SD 632 chipset for 200 euros when there are devices like Moto's own One Power sporting the same 5000 mAh battery, FHD display, SD636 also handsets like the Note 5 and 6 pro, Nokia 6.1 plus all these are available for around 190 euros. All sport a FHD display and powered by the SD636. Seriously HD resolution looks horrible on such a large display.
Gsmarena still not reviewed the Moto One Power with the massive 5000 mAh battery and specs competitive to other budget phones.

Dude the G7 Power is one of GSM Arena's all time winner in battery life. If you don't like the camera you can load in the Pixel Camera app wich works perfectly because the phone is secretly optimized to use it. They even updated the original Motorola Camera app to have Google's AR Emoji built in. Know your facts please. I'm betting Motorola keeps working with Google as close as possible on the software side, there are many hints to it.
