Sagem myS-7 is the company's first smartphone running Windows Mobile 2003 software. It includes the familiar Pocket Outlook® software, which gives access to e-mail, contacts, calendar and tasks as well as other Windows applications like Internet Explorer, MSN® Messenger, Windows Media® Player.

It presents 640 x 480 VGA camera with up to 4x digital zoom and a mirror for self-portrait. The 176 x 220 TFT screen is capable of displaying 65,536 colors. Pictures and videos can be stored in the photo album, which is also provided.

The myS-7 smartphone is supplied with 32MB user storage which is expandable via either SD or MMC memory cards (SDIO-capable), while high speed data connectivity is offered in the form of infrared and USB support, with GPRS used for both Internet and WAP 2.0 browsing as well as MMS sending.

Sagem's MyS-7 is a tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS enabled handset. It offers Hi-Fi, polyphonic and MP3 ringtones played back through a polyphonic speaker. Other features include the usual Smartphone sound recorder and player functionality, as well as a vibrating alert and build-in hands-free.

The handset weighs 120 g including its extra-flat Lithium-Ion battery, measuring 110 x 49 x 20.7 mm with a volume of 110 cc. In this package it claims 4 hours of talktime or 100 hours of standby.

The myS-7 smartphone is expected to be available in June 2004.
