1)Apple and droids have moved on to dual core cpu's...is windows phone even comparable to them in performance?
2)What advantage does live tiles offer over live widgets in android?(apple apparently has no system for diplaying info about apps).
3) Are there enough games(3D) for the platform? Also will the relatively weak hardware be able to support them?
Lookaheadcarryadder, 12 Dec 2011I want to know the advantages of Windows OS over android/iphone...anyone care to enlighten me?... morei feel like the main thing is the people hub and facebook integration, as well as the live tiles really makes it easier to find the info that i want without having to go into the apps. the onscreen keyboard is real nice with a good auto correct function, though the landscape keyboard blocks most of the screen lol.
other then that, it's responsive and the os is reliable.
oh and updates come quickly, i got the latest update on the second day when it came out lol
Lookaheadcarryadder, 12 Dec 2011I want to know the advantages of Windows OS over android/iphone...anyone care to enlighten me?... moreAny WP7 handset is a good enough choice. I did chose between Android and HTC Mozart and i now regret the decision. it`s a good enough phone and ... multimedia thing. the point is that windows will never develop the battery consumption issue. in the meantime android devices upgraded their independence from 1 day to almost 4 days. you will never see that on wp7. is anoing that i have to charge it almost every day. and i don`t even use it that much. in conclusion its a very good PHONE and that`s that. the apps in the market are`t worth 1 cent

Please dont tell that windows is smoother, quality matters, its resource efficient and blah blah bhah...looking for a genuine advantage here folks :D!!
I am also not a grandfather so user unfriendly oses are welcome.
Eg. Android supports live wallpapers, which is awesome!!(not yet used an android properly but sure looks cool).

p.s:i am not an iphone user!
In theory if this phone was bought to the uk unlocked even though its missing 1 band of 3g would is still work... Would there be any limitations or drawbacks?
No system-wide file manager
No Bluetooth file transfers
No USB mass storage mode
Limited third-party apps availability
No Flash (nor Silverlight) support in the browser
Too dependent on Zune software for file management and syncing
No DivX/XviD video support (automatic transcoding provided by Zune software, but lowers quality)
"What’s missing is the ability to set any song from your collection as a ringtone – a feature some of you might miss. You can download new ringtones from the Marketplace though (possibly at some cost though)."
Unbelievable....Come on, this is 2011 !
Welcome back to 1990's with Windows phones
at least samsung are starting to put some dedicated camera key on their phones :) Still SGSII better though
Its weight is just 110.5 g and is just 8.5mm thick so it could easily slip into the pocket. 8 MP Autofocus camera with LED and 1.3MP secondary is good enough for $665 phone, isn't it, I read it's review on cedooo.com and find it superb.
