Samsung Galaxy A35 battery life test
We've completed the battery life test of the Galaxy A35 and it delivered a solid 12:26 hour active use score.
The move from the 6nm Dimensity 1080 to the 5nm Exynos 1380 no doubt pays dividends here. The gaming result is particularly impressive, posting more than most other 5,000mAh phones in this price class - the Moto G84, the Poco M6 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
The 10 hours and 19 minutes of browsing is also up there with the best, as is the nearly 13 hours and 40 minutes of video playback.
Breaking down the performance, the Gaming test was particularly impressive, suggesting that the Exynos chipset is really way more efficient than its direct rivals.
The video streaming and browsing tests were in line with the rivals, save for the Moto G84 which went for a couple hours more than the rest. That would suggest that the Galaxy A35's screen doesn't enjoy the efficiency advantage that its chipset gets.
The overall score is the best of the lot we've picked, although those that game little will likely find the Moto G84 to match or even outdo the Samsung phone. This is done by underclocking the cpu like google pixel. running at full speed would overheat and drain real quick. so basically, you may get 60% of the entire cpu power while resulting in less heat and battery drain. just to hide its weakness of exy...
