Due to the ridiculous 20:9 ratio the screen is a little wider than a 5.5 inch 16:9 phone, too tall and very narrow for comfortable reading and surfing.

I have this phone from the early days since its launch in India .There's no doubt it is a good phone , but you will not feel satisfied with this.
Pros: Good Battery backup
Awesome Display
Large screen- good for reading and videos.
Good professor
Cons:
Price seems to be on higher side.
Fingerprint scanner : Very pathetic & Unreliable.
Faster face unlock has become slower now after update . (it was very faste earlier reduced after updates)
camera performance is not satisfactory.-(One good camera is sufficient instead of three.

Other brands g... moreYeah, they are constantly testing which features are more or less desirable, and how much people are ready to pay for them. I think that's why they release so many models. Samsung certainly can make a better phone for cheaper, but their flagship need to remain competitive. But there's also Chinese competition, and that's perhaps why now having 128 gb of space is almost standard.

Ss17 your correct, the A70 is exactly an improved version of the A50 but has slightly more cons. The A50's camera is more sharper while the A70 is a bit more foggy to be honest, and with the no night mode on A70.
My Score in A50 is (4.8/5.0), And A70 is (4.5/5.0)
