As long as you dont remove the application from the phone system.
Root gives you access to be able to remove whatever you dont want!

Your observations are correct. Consider these:
1) Camera zoom: Digital Zoom only reduces the photo quality, so it is virtually useless.
2) 555MB RAM is available for user, the other 213MB is reserved for the Android System (i.e. graphics, etc.)
3) System ROM for user is 1.1GB, USB Memory is 1.0GB. The other 1.9GB is again reserved for system use and not available for user.
4) Yes, no JB update yet... :)

- the internal memory that can be used is 1 GB only.
- the software is not upgradable till now.

Samsung Google Nexus S or Samsung Ace 2? (I don't care much about 4.2 update) If you know any other phone same as Google Nexus S than please tell.
